Aug 29 – Let’s Ban Plastic Bags in San Diego

It’s such a simple step. If San Diego bans single-use plastic bags, we can make a huge impact protecting our ocean. This Thursday, join with environmentalists, along with business and civic leaders from all over San Diego, to declare  support for eliminating single-use plastic bags in San Diego and statewide. When Thursday, August 29, at 10:00am Where Inside Sea World. Once you park at Sea World, just look for one of our team members wearing a blue Environment California t-shirt to find out where to go. We’ve all seen plastic bags along the beach and littering our streets. We know that all this plastic trash harms our local wildlife, and the bags that make it to the ocean can starve the sea turtles that mistake them for jellyfish.
