San Diegans Weigh In On Federal Immigration Reform Bill

From KPBS Midday Edition, Thursday May 30, 2013 Rhoda Quate, OFA talks about the importance of Immigration Reform and the Rally scheduled for 7pm The Immigration Reform bill passed the Senate Judiciary committee this week. The bill now moves to the Senate floor for a vote next month, but even if it passes in the Senate, there are new doubts about its chances in the House. The Bill that provides a lengthy but definite road to citizenship for many people in the U.S. illegally is running up against resistance from conservative members of Congress who say the bill offers “amnesty.” Transcript of the interview.
