Many club members are interested in knowing more about the Affordable Care Act not only abstractedly as the landmark piece of legislation passed during Obama’s first term, but also from a practical point of view for themselves, and their dependents.

Steve is a graphic designer by trade and has been a political consultant, volunteer, and Democratic Party activist over the last 25 years. As President of the California Young Democrats in 1993, he was part of the statewide effort to educate the public about the Health Security Act. Currently serving as CDP Region 20 Director and part of the statewide effort to educate the public about the Affordable Care Act, he cannot help but reflect that it’s been 20 years since the last national effort.
