It’s June, the start of the Presidential debates (June 26 and 27). We don’t have our regular meeting at the Point Loma Assembly this month, instead we have it at the OB Street Fair! We have to start registering voters and firing up San Diegans to pay attention and get rid of this administration. We’ll engage with voters, learn their issues and understand who they want us to back in upcoming elections. Remember, the California Primary is in March and vote by mail ballots will drop in February 2020! If you want to volunteer to learn the issues, walk your precinct, get involved and contribute, come see us at the Street Fair, and bring your friends, family, pets, anyone who wants to make America smart again. Details of the Street Fair are available here. The fair runs from 10am – 8pm with lots of events for all the family.
Join us for a Mother’s Day discussion on how we can create better policies to support mothers and the implications of motherhood as it intersects with economic inequality.
