Election Analysis

Longtime club member Cynara Dawn Kidwell, who was recently elected to Director of Clubs for the San Diego County Democratic Party, will review the results of the local elections last November. She’ll discuss what we can learn from our successes and failures — the impact of walking precincts, coalescing behind community candidates, and acting strategically.

Boards and Commissions

A staff member from Terra Lawson-Remer’s County Supervisor’s office will talk to us about applying and serving on county Boards and Commissions such as the Human Relations Commission, Behavioral Health Advisory Board, Civil Service Commission, and the Committee for Persons with Disabilities.

These advisory boards are an extension of our County Board of Supervisor’s office and Terra Lawson-Remer relies on appointed members to advise her and the full Board of Supervisors in making good decisions.

Super Bowl Sunday Tamale Benefit

With energy prices doubling in January in San Diego, the WSWA needs our help like never before. You can help their members, and enjoy Tamales for Super Bowl, by ordering some today.
