Oct 28 – General Meeting – Ballot Party, Propositions & Measures, Bring Your Friends and Neighbors
Election time is upon us!
Vote by mail ballots started arriving this week. GO Team volunteers started walking their precincts last weekend. The voter registration deadline is October 22nd, and on Sunday October 28th we’ll be talking through the Propositions and Ballot Measures.
To help us understand the State Propositions and Local Ballot Measures we have guest speakers Anne Hoiberg and Cody Petterson, who will explain the pros and cons and field questions from members.
If you haven’t yet voted bring your ballots or voter guides with you and check off your decisions as we go along. Feel free to invite friends and neighbors who are looking for some partisan Democratic guidance.
The clubs endorsed candidates are:
Jen Campbell for San Diego City Council District 2
Kevin Beiser School Board District B
Nathan Fletcher for County Supervisor District 4
Tommy Hough for San Diego City Council District 6
Matt Brower for San Diego Superior Court
Scott Peters for Congressional District 52
Todd Gloria for Assembly District 78
Thanks to Damian Carroll @carrolldamian, National Director @VisionToLearn, here is an easy guide to the State Propositions as haikus.
