Dec 2 – Come Along to Celebrate “California Dreamin’ in the Season of Love” at the OB Holiday Parade

Come take part in the OB Holiday Parade and show solidarity with local candidates and elected officials. We don’t have a meeting at the Assembly in December, but we do march in the OB Parade!

All members and their friends are invited to take part – break out your hippy gear and bejewel it with Winter festivity, make yourself glow, be sure you’re well lit (!) Clubmember Jimmy Tabb will be driving his Gran Torino red convertible. We’ll be joined by Dave Myers, candidate for County Sheriff, the Democratic Woman’s Club, members of Indivisible and Together We Will and many more.

We’ll gather between Sunset and Ebers on Newport (section A) at 4:30pm ready for the Parade start at 5:05pm. We don’t have the truck this year, so we’ll just be marching with the banner.

Allow time for parking, you may (more than likely, will) have to park several blocks away.

Kids, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.

Invite your friends via Facebook and Twitter.
