San Diego Lifeguard Association (SDLA) is hosting a relief fundraiser benefitting Gareth “Chappy” Chapman, a San Diego lifeguard who suffered a broken neck and back while on duty this summer.
Shortly before suffering his traumatic injury Chappy, along with his Windansea crew members, saved over 500 people from dangerous rip currents throughout the month of July.
Lifeguards are asking you to help one of our own get back in action.
