I Love A Clean San Diego is gearing up to host their countywide event, Coastal Cleanup Day.

It’s the largest volunteer effort in San Diego County, and they’re preparing to engage 8,000 volunteers at nearly 100 cleanup sites throughout the county.

Volunteers are needed for the 31st Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept. 19th!

In OB you can start the day at the Pier Pancake Breakfast and Support the OB Food & Toy Drive.
The Annual OB Pier Pancake Breakfast will take place on Saturday, September 19th from 7:30am – 12:00pm.
Proceeds of this community event benefit the holiday events and the annual OB Toy and Food Drive, which helps over 90 local families and seniors in need during the upcoming holiday season. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets will be available at Dog Beach Dog Wash and South Coast Surf Shop!
After breakfast you can also join IBEW 569 and ‘I Love A Clean San Diego’ as they celebrate the 31st anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day.
IBEW 569 will host the cleanup site in Ocean Beach at Veterans Plaza (near the intersection of Newport Avenue and Abbott Street).
