The Point Loma Association (PLA) is a VERY active Community organization for all of our great Peninsula. Many will recognize the “Green Team” from the PLA out each Friday doing volunteer landscaping and maintenance.
Each Year The PLA has an annual celebration dinner. This year it will be October 1st at the remarkable new Coastera Events Center on the Harbor. Each year the PLA makes Community Beautification Awards at the Annual Dinner. This can be building design, landscaping excellence and other examples of great new design that enhance our communities.
This Year I am Vice Chair of the PLA active with the Beautification awards. I want to simply “reach out” to others who live in the Ocean Beach part of the Peninsula to ask for recommendations of buildings, businesses, projects that are worthy of consideration for these awards. I think it is important to be sure that outstanding new additions to the OB area are actively considered for these awards.
Please just get back to me with suggestions for consideration and I will be sure they are included in the judging.
