There is no meeting at the Point Loma Assembly this month, as instead we encourage all members to attend the OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-off Festival.
Many of our elected officials will be stopping by our club booth #175 during the day, so this is a good chance to meet and talk about issues of concern.
Councilmember (and club member) Ed Harris will be helping judge the Chili!
If you’d like to volunteer to staff the booth, please contact Michael Johnson, and if not just come along to enjoy the music and food!

Ride to the Festival for free! Park near Robb Field or on Sea World Drive (at Pacific Highway) from 9:30 am to 9 pm. Trolleys run every ½ hour on the ½ hour from Robb Field and every hour on the hour from Sea World Dr. There’l be four trolleys running continuously so you won’t miss any of the fun!
