“Rendezvous in Blue” the San Diego County Democratic Party’s annual gala and awards dinner.

Come along and celebrate the club being selected as San Diego County Democratic Club of the Year!

Point Loma Dems already have four tables. It’s a fund-raiser for the San Diego Democratic Party and still not too late to book.

The dinner will be held in the beautiful Sapphire Terrace and Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Last year’s event sold out, so be sure to contact us now.

The awards presented will include: Legislator of the Year to Todd Gloria, San Diego Interim Mayor and Council President; Volunteer of the Year to Kami Olsson, Countywide Grassroots Organizing Team Director; Leadership Award to Linda Simonds, a longtime voter registration coordinator; Making a Difference Award to Josie Hamada, who has organized Democratic campaign offices over multiple election cycles; and club of the year to you know who.

Speakers will include Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones, incoming Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, San Diego City Council President Todd Gloria, Councilmember David Alvarez, and many other leaders, candidates, and special guests.

Normal individual tickets are $125 per person (the early bird pricing is no longer available). You can pay by credit card either online or by calling the club (619) 800-5098.

We’ve been able to meet everyone’s seating request. Subsidized parking is available at the hotel for $10, and if you’re interested in car pooling let us know and we’ll try to coordinate.
