Join us for a San Diego action in support of 350.org, Sierra Club and other organizations’ protest of the Keystone XL Pipeline in Washington DC on February 17, 2013 (Presidents Day).

We want the world to know that San Diegans agree: we’ve got to stop using fossil fuels if we want to beat climate change. We only have one planet. The time is now. We can only do that if there are many of us present.

Speakers on February 17 include Mayor Bob Filner (City of San Diego), Dr. Jeffrey Severinghaus (Scripps Institution of Oceanography), Lori Saldaña (former Assemblywoman and Chair of Sierra Club San Diego), Rev. Dr. Beth Johnson (Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship), and Elizabeth Perez-Halperin (green business owner and veteran). Music by Charlie Imes. Special singing telegram for President Obama by the Occupella Chorus.
