WHAT:
Volunteers, candidates, elected officials, and community leaders will join other supporters to watch the election returns come in at the election night party jointly organized by the County Democratic Party and the Labor Council. San Diego is at the center of many consequential and closely fought races in this historic general election, including for Mayor, Congress, State Legislature, and state and local ballot measures.

Guests will include Congressman Bob Filner, candidate for San Diego Mayor; Port Commissioner Scott Peters, Candidate for the 52nd Congressional District; State Senator Juan Vargas, Candidate for the 51st Congressional District; State Senator Christine Kehoe; Assemblymember Marty Block, Candidate for the 39th State Senate District; numerous other local officeholders and candidates; Jess Durfee, Chair of the San Diego County Democratic Party; and Lorena Gonzalez, Secretary-Treasurer/CEO of San Diego Labor Council.
